1. Fully vaccinated individuals entering Sabah from all parts of Malaysia will be exempted from the mandatory quarantine.

Individuals still need to provide a negative PCR test result within 3 days before entering the state, and obtain police permission for interstate travel

2. Only individuals who have not completed their vaccination and those who display symptoms upon arrival must undergo quarantine at a designated hotel in Sabah.

As of October 4, a total of 1.7 million Sabahans have completed their vaccination.

3. Meanwhile, Sabah is expected to receive out-of-state visitors, especially tourists and investors, in stages from the end of October.
