Covid-19 Indonesia reported 4,168 new cases total now at 240,687 & 112 new deaths taking total to 9,448

The Health Ministry announced 4,168 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Saturday, bringing the total number of infections nationwide to 240,687.

According to data released by the ministry on Satruday, 112 more people have died of the disease, bringing the death toll to 9,448.

The total number of recovered patients has also increased to 174,350. The capital city recorded 988 new confirmed cases, bringing the total tally to 60,828.

Meanwhile, West Java reported 470 new cases, East Java 379, Riau 303, Central Java 271 and Papua 205. The virus has spread to all of the country's 34 provinces. (kmt)
