JOHOR BAHRU, Feb 1 -- Paloh assemblyman Sheikh Umar Bagharib Ali today confirmed that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
He said that he underwent a swab test at the Kluang district health office at 11.30 am yesterday after having body aches, before receiving the results at 5 pm.
“I don’t have a fever, just felt uncomfortable. After that I lost my sense of taste. I found out my positive result at 5 pm, and I’m still at home waiting for further instructions from doctors,” he said when contacted here tonight.
Sheikh Umar had previously shared the news of his COVID-19 positive status in a posting on his Facebook account and asked for people to pray for his speedy recovery
