Covid-19 Malaysia: 30,787 New Cases and 70 Deaths (19 BID) Recorded As Of 11.59pm Thursday

KKM reported 30,787 new cases, a slight increase from 30,246 comprising of 30,179 local cases and 608 imported cases. The total number of Covid-19 cases recorded as of yesterday is 3,741,986.

70 New Covid-19 deaths was also reported yesterday, down from 113 on Wednesday. 19 of the deaths were classified as brought-in-dead (BID) cases.

Perak reported the highest number of Deaths with 20, followed by Selangor (11), Johor (10), Kelantan (9), Kedah (7), Negeri Sembilan and Sabah (4 each), Pahang (3) and Perlis and Terengganu (1 each)

There were 26,457 recoveries.

Currently there are 314,420 active cases

From the new cases 389 were admitted in intensive care units (ICU), with 229 requiring ventilators
