KKM recorded 33,406 new cases comprising 33,064 local and 342 imported cases. on March 5, 2022. bringing total to.3,595,172.

There were 67 Deaths with 23 Brought In Dead (BID)

Selangor had the highest number of deaths with 14, followed by Johor (13), Kedah (10), Perak (8), Sabah (7), Perlis (4), Pahang (3), Kelantan (3), Melaka (3), Negeri Sembilan (1) Penang (1).

There are 311,206 active cases.

371 in intensive care units (ICU) of which 226 require ventilators for respiratory assistance.
