Datuk Seri Abdul Ghapur Salleh 80 died at approximately 12.07 this morning.

KOTA KINABALU: Former Member of Parliament for Kalabakan, Datuk Seri Abdul Ghapur Salleh, 80, died at approximately 12.07 this morning.

The deceased was a Member of Parliament for the Kalabakan seat from 2004 until 2018.

During his time as a Member of Parliament, the deceased held the position of Deputy Chief Minister of Sabah and Minister of Finance.

This veteran UMNO politician is the former Sabah UMNO Deputy Communications Chairman and the former Kalabakan UMNO Leader.

His daughter, Noraini Abdul Ghapur informed that her father's body will be buried at Majid Jamek Kampung Likas here.

He will be buried at the Kampung Likas Islamic cemetery at approximately 10 o'clock this morning
