Tun Faisal, Ras Adiba Radzi join Bersatu
Seremban: Former Deputy Leader of UMNO Putrajaya, Tun Faisal Aziz and former Bernama Chairman, Ras Adiba Radzi were confirmed as Bersatu members by Bersatu President, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
These two personalities received Bersatu membership certificates in front of approximately 2000 Perikatan Nasional supporters who attended the Negeri Sembilan PN Election Machinery Launching Ceremony.
Tun Faisal, who is also a former UMNO Youth Exco, was fired from the party last January for criticizing the UMNO President, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Tun Faisal chose to join Bersatu because he believed he could play a better role for the interests of religion, nation and country after realizing that UMNO had lost the value of the struggle.
"I am a person who believes in congregations or working in organizations, so I need to be in an organization to help the cause I believe in.
"For me, PAS or BERSATU are the same because both are under PN. However, looking at the aspect in Putrajaya, a place I am familiar with, Member of Parliament Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin who represents Bersatu.
