MOSCOW: US billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk said on Sunday that the Starlink satellite internet system is the backbone of Ukraine's military, warning that the country's frontline will collapse if he decides to shut down the service, Sputnik/RIA Novosti reported.
"My Starlink system is the backbone of the Ukrainian army. Their entire front line will collapse if I close it," Musk said through platform X.
He also called for an end to the conflict. Earlier, Western media reported that negotiations between US and Ukrainian negotiators on American companies' access to Ukrainian mineral resources also allegedly touched on the possibility of cutting off Ukraine's access to Starlink.
However, Musk denied the allegations.
