MACC see NO WRONGDOING in a contract received by the husband of Hannah Yeoh from the Selangor Government

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) confirmed that the contract received by the husband of Youth and Sports Minister, Hannah Yeoh from the Selangor Government did not contain any wrongdoing.

MACC Chief Commissioner, Tan Sri Azam Baki said that the tender was awarded by another entity that had nothing to do with the minister's duties and responsibilities.

"Hannah Yeoh's job is as the Minister of Youth and Sports, she has nothing to do with the Selangor Government.

"I see that the Selangor Government has nothing to do with the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

"At the moment I don't see any wrongdoing," he said during the press conference of the Council Signing the Improvement Report on the Governance of Electricity Energy Asset Management and Coordination in Malaysia at the Leo Moggie Convention Centre, on Monday.

On Friday, Selangor Investment, Trade and Mobility Exco Ng Sze Han said Asia Mobility and Badan Bus Coach had been chosen to run the public transport system for the first and last mile in the state.

He said the decision was made after a presentation to the state transport committee and based on their experience in implementing the concept
