KUALA LUMPUR: Police are looking for suspects involved in the commotion involving football supporters at a stadium in Petaling Jaya, after the Super League match ended yesterday.
Deputy Petaling Jaya District Police Chief Supt M. Hussin Sollehuddin Zolkifly said his party had detected two viral videos on social media at 10.15 this morning, regarding the incident which caused the iron gate to the supporters' seats to be damaged.
He said an investigation paper in accordance with Section 427 of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act, had been opened and the investigation was still continuing to trace the suspect involved.
"People with information are asked to come forward to help the investigation.
"Any information regarding the incident can be channeled through the Petaling Jaya IPD Operations Room at 03-79662222," he said in a statement today.
