Teddy Indra Wijaya, familiarly known as Mayor Teddy, has been appointed by President Prabowo Subianto as Cabinet Secretary in the Red and White Cabinet.
Major Teddy, who was born on April 14, 1989, is a middle-ranking Indonesian Army officer of Javanese-Minahasan blood.
Major Teddy comes from a military family. His father is Colonel Inf. (Ret.) Giyono and his mother is Major Caj (K) Patris RA Rumbayan.
Major Teddy's military career began in 2011 after graduating from the Military Academy in Magelang, Central Java, which is planned to be the training center for Prabowo Subianto's ministers in the future.
Major Teddy also took part in various specialist military courses at Kopassus.
He also attended intelligence school in Australia in 2015 and then attended various specialist schools in the United States such as the US Army Infantry School, Airborne School, Air Assault School, and especially the Ranger School in 2020.
Teddy also studied at the US Army Infantry School and graduated in 2019 with the title of International Honor Graduate among 185 students, consisting of 171 American officers and 14 foreign officers.
Teddy was once an assistant to the 7th President Jokowi. Then Teddy became an aide to Prabowo Subianto, and he was always attached wherever Prabowo went.
Now he has a new assignment as Cabinet Secretary (Seskab). Teddy's duties in the Cabinet Secretariat include carrying out the President and Vice President's mission by providing quality cabinet management support.
Then, the Cabinet Secretary is also tasked with providing appropriate, fast, and safe recommendations on the implementation of government; providing support for effective, efficient, and responsive cabinet work and improving the quality of administrative services, human resources and facilities/infrastructure within the Cabinet Secretariat.
